High Speed Trains - Long Distance, Avant and Conventional Middle Distance
If you are
travelling in a wheelchair, you must hold a special ticket entitling you to a reduced mobility space and which must have purchased at least 36 hours before the date of travel. Assistance is booked
automatically.
If you do not travel in a special reduced mobility space, you must have booked or purchased your ticket at least 36 hours before the date and time of travel and requested
assistance, either at the time of purchasing or by telephoning 902 240505 at least 36 hours before travelling.
Local trains (Rodalies)
To request the assistance service,
passengers must telephone 902 240505 at least 36 hours before the date and time of travel.
In local CIVIA trains, not requiring assistance, and to ensure the journey is undertaken in the
best conditions, travellers are advised to notify their route 2 hours before their train is due to depart by telephoning 902 240505. Please be at the designated place in the station at least 30 minutes
before the train departure time.
If you do not notify your travel plans beforehand via telephone 902 240505, Adif and Renfe cannot guarantee that you will receive assistance, although they
will do their utmost to make this possible.
For local (Rodalies) and Conventional Middle Distance trains with no seat bookings, the number of tickets available will be limited by the
number of adapted spaces on each train.
For trains with security controlled boarding, people accompanying disabled travellers in order to help them with boarding before the train departs
should request a special permit at the Station Customer Care Centre.
Wheelchairs must be within the following maximum measurements: width 700mm, depth 1,300mm and height 1,400mm.
